The season of delays is upon us again.
Techland tweeted out some unfortunate news earlier today. The first planned story DLC for Dying Light 2 Stay Human has been delayed. The new story content is now expected to be released in September.
Techland says that they simply need more time to develop the new content. That is pretty much the entirety of this.
To keep fans occupied until September, there will be some smaller bits released in the months preceding it. In June, they will add in the first game chapter called "In the Footsteps of the Nightrunner." This will be an in-game event that includes unspecified new content. This update will also include the game's photo mode.
The actual story DLC will need to be paid for, but this stuff that is set to begin in June will presumably be free to everyone that owns the game already.
