Dread it, run from it, Keighley arrives all the same. June 9, 2022 is the date settled upon by Geoff Keighley and cohorts for when the Summer Game Fest will officially kick off. You'll be able to watch this year's event from the comfort of your own home, on the go, or even at IMAX theaters. You ever want to experience Geoff Keighley? This is how you do it.

This year's Summer Game Fest will include appearances from 2K, Activision, Capcom, Electronic Arts, Gearbox, Bandai Namco, Square Enix, Riot, Mediatonic, Annapurna Interactive, Netflix, Sega, and more. The event includes new game reveals, announcements, and the Day of the Devs, all of which will be livestreamed on all the usual streaming places. The IMAX showings will be done throughout North America and the UK.

The June 9 start date for Summer Game Fest places it just three days before three other fairly major shows: Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase, PC Gaming Show, and Future Games Show. EA said previously they weren't holding an EA Play Live event this year, so whatever they end up showing will be a part of Keighley's event.
