Back 4 Blood is the latest co-op focused zombie shooter out on the market. This one is from the original developers behind Left 4 Dead, Turtle Rock Studios. At present, the Back 4 Blood community is a bit frustrated at the limitations put in place for those who wish to play the game by themselves.

When playing solo, there are a number of bizarre restrictions set in place. The limitations can be spotted when you try to play in solo mode and was posted last week to Reddit.

The issues players have with this mode are in the fact that earning certain unlocks is disabled. You cannot earn Supply Points, you cannot track stats, and you also cannot even earn any achievements when playing solo.

In Back 4 Blood, players unlock cards via supply points and use a card-based system that allows them to tweak certain elements of their character to give them some boosts to fit their play style. In solo play, these cards are automatically unlocked and can build a deck without supply points. Players are actually kind of upset over the lack of any sort of progression system in place if you decide to play on your own.

The lack of rewards or achievements is a big hang-up for a lot of players out there.

Fortunately, it seems as though Turtle Rock Studios has heard the complaints. They say that they are "discussing ways to address this issue." They continue on to say that they'll "have more news as we strategize on potential ways to make it happen."

Back 4 Blood currently sits at a 79% at OpenCritic. The game released last week for those that purchased the Ultimate and Deluxe Editions and will release October 12 for those who purchased the regular version. Back 4 Blood is available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.

Turtle Rock Studios, the development studio that created Left 4 Dead and who eventually brought us Left 4 Dead 2 and Evolve (but let's not talk about that one) is working on a new co-op FPS. And just like Left 4 Dead, this new title will also include plenty of zombies.

The game is called Back 4 Blood (I see what they did there) and it will be published by WBIE. It's a bit early to say how this one will turn out since a lot of the old Turtle Rock kind of merged with Valve for...
