Turtle Rock Moving on to New Project, Says Goodbye to Back 4 Blood

Back 4 Blood development comes to an end after three expansions.

Turtle Rock Studios say that they will no longer be adding any additional content to Back 4 Blood. They will instead shift their full attention over to creating their next game. This announcement, made in a brief statement earlier today, comes after the release of several updates and three expansions for their zombie-slaying co-op shooter.

While new content won't be released for Back 4 Blood, Turtle Rock...

Some sad news today as we share with you word that the four-player co-op shooter, Back 4 Blood, has been delayed. The team took to Twitter today to inform fans that they will now release the game on October 12, 2021.

The game was originally supposed to be released on June 22nd. I mean it is 2021 after all and delays of this nature should be expected by now.

Back 4 Blood Gameplay Reveal from Turtle Rock Studios

Will lightning strike twice for Turtle Rock?

Turtle Rock Studios is hoping to strike gold twice with fans of the co-op shooter genre. In March 2019 we learned that Turtle Rock Studios was working on a new zombie-filled co-op shooter in the same vein as Left 4 Dead. We knew then that the game was called Back 4 Blood but we saw nothing of it since it was so very early in development.

Now, this past week gave us two new trailers for Back 4 Blood. One is a cinematic trailer...

Turtle Rock is Making a New Zombie Filled Co-op FPS Game

Turtle Rock Studios, the development studio that created Left 4 Dead and who eventually brought us Left 4 Dead 2 and Evolve (but let's not talk about that one) is working on a new co-op FPS. And just like Left 4 Dead, this new title will also include plenty of zombies.

The game is called Back 4 Blood (I see what they did there) and it will be published by WBIE. It's a bit early to say how this one will turn out since a lot of the old Turtle Rock kind of merged with Valve for...

Turtle Rock Releases "Lost" Left 4 Dead Campaign

Turtle Rock Studios have released a "lost" Left 4 Dead campaign that never saw the light of day. Dam It is an incomplete campaign in almost every way but it is still playable.
Just finished putting the Dam campaign that we streamed a while back into a L4D addon. It's gray box, and some code features are missing but it's playable from beginning to end. It also includes two standalone survival maps that never shipped.
"Gray box" means that it's largely untextured and obviously i...
