Don't worry if you can't attend, it will be streamed on 40 different platforms.
The Keighley's, or as they're more commonly known, The Game Awards, now has a set date. The Game Awards 2021 will air on December 9, 2021 and will be held in-person at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. For those who aren't invited to the event, you'll still be able to watch it on one of 40 different streaming platforms.
For those that are invited to attend, there will be increased health and safety protocols in place. I think this has something to do with a bad cold that's been going around. Not sure what else it could possibly be for.
For those of us at home, we can expect the usual: New game trailer premieres, new announcements, musical performances, and probably an actual award or two delivered live while the rest are just rattled off before and after commercial breaks.
There doesn't seem to be a full list of streaming platforms available yet for this year's event, but with there being 40 of them, I'm sure whatever one pops into your mind first will have it.
