Early 2022 is starting to look a little packed.
Yet another game has fallen victim to the plague known as "delay." The latest is Techland's Dying Light 2 Stay Human.
Techland announced today that Dying Light 2 will now be released on February 4, 2022. This is a shift of about three months as it was initially planned to be released on December 7, 2021. The full statement about today's delay can be found below. In short, while the game is said to be complete, the team still needs more time to playtest it, iron out some bugs, polish it, and optimize it.
Dying Light 2 is the latest game to be announced for an early 2022 release. It joins other games like Elden Ring, Horizon Forbidden West, Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, Saints Row, Sifu, Gran Turismo 7, and Tiny Tina's Wonderlands. Those games, and more, all come out between January 21 and March 25.
