Square Enix and Deck Nine Games just released Life is Strange: True Colors today across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, GeForce Now, and Stadia. This release is an all-new chapter in the Life is Strange franchise, featuring a new lead character, a new power, and a new mystery to solve.
Players will take on the role of Alex Chen, "a young woman navigating early adulthood in Haven Springs, a small mountain town where she quickly becomes a part of a tight-knit community." Alex reconnects with her long-lost brother here who moved to the town searching for their missing father.
It is in this town where Alex tries to deal with her unique psychic power of Empathy, "a supernatural ability that allows her to experience, absorb, and influence the strong emotions of others." Yes, I still find it super amusing that the simple concept of empathy is considered a "supernatural ability" for gamers.
