Epic finally adds Morty proper to Fortnite.

The launch of Chapter 2 Season 7 for Fortnite included some crossover content with none other than Rick and Morty. While it was possible to get Rick as a playable skin through the game's battle pass, Morty was reduced to only being a pickaxe skin. Thankfully, fans of the cartoon will now get to also play as Morty if they so desire.

Morty will tackle the lack of height by wearing a mech suit.

To unlock Mecha Morty right now, you can do so through the Fortnite shop. You can buy the skin on its own for 1,500 V-bucks (use code "zips" at checkout /sponsored). Alternatively, you can get a bundle that includes some extra items for 2,200 V-bucks. The bundle includes the Mecha Morty skin, Look at Me! Wrap, Space Snake Pickaxe, and Morty's Backpack Back Bling.

As of right now, there does not seem to be any way to unlock Mecha Morty for free.
