Update arrives for next-gen consoles on August 24.
Ubisoft shared news today that they will be updating Assassin's Creed Odyssey with Title Update 1.6.0 tomorrow, August 24. Included in this update will be the addition of 60FPS support on both the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This won't necessarily be a next-gen patch, but will instead be an update that focuses on the backwards compatibility capabilities of both next-gen consoles.
Ubisoft says that the update will weigh in at about 370MB on Xbox and 470MB on PlayStation. Any further changes included in Title Update 1.6.0 were not disclosed by Ubisoft.
Assassin's Creed Odyssey came out back in 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
