Those of you who have played Monster Hunter Rise may be well aware that there really isn't an ending to the game, at least not in the traditional sense. An update, scheduled to arrive this May, will fix that.

Today, during the Monster Hunter digital event, Capcom announced that the Version 3.0 update will add in an additional story chapter that takes place after the current ending of the game. The bad news here is that specifics about what this mean were not shared outside of a mysterious question.

"What will happen to Kamura Village as it faces its biggest Rampage yet?"
Oooh, how mysteriously vague!

The 3.0 update also brings several new monsters to the table. A more full reveal on this update will be made closer to its launch next month. The 2.0 update is coming on April 28 (tomorrow), includes new monsters, Apex versions of monsters, and other new content. Further details on tomorrow's update can be found below alongside some screenshots from the update.
