Hunt monsters on consoles that don't come from Nintendo.

Capcom released Monster Hunter Rise today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Game Pass. If you are looking to buy the game outright, it should run you just $39.99 (USD) on your platform of choice. The Game Pass version includes console, PC, and the cloud.

Consoles besides the Switch will finally get their chance to play Rise.

Initially launched on the Nintendo Switch, Monster Hunter Rise eventually made its way over to the PC. With over 11 million units sold across these two platforms, the Rise release train isn't over just yet. Capcom says that those on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 will soon get to hunt their own monsters when January 20, 2023 rolls around.

The Switch exclusive is getting a glow up.

Capcom announced today that Monster Hunter Rise will be released on the PC on January 12, 2022. There will be a demo for this once exclusive Switch title hitting the PC on October 13, 2021.

We found out that Resident Evil Re:Verse, that multiplayer game free to those that own Resident Evil Village, will be released in July. I'm sure there are a few people excited about it.

There will finally be a finale added to Rise.

Those of you who have played Monster Hunter Rise may be well aware that there really isn't an ending to the game, at least not in the traditional sense. An update, scheduled to arrive this May, will fix that.

Monster Hunter Rise is now available on the Nintendo Switch for $59.99 (USD). Those of you on the PC will get to experience Rise when it releases in early 2022 there. This latest installment takes players to Kamura Village as they "prepare to to defend themselves against a rapidly approaching calamity called the Rampage."

Players can play this one solo or team up with three other players for co-op hunting online.

The Game Awards was the home to a new trailer for Monster Hunter Rise for the Nintendo Switch. This new video for the latest in the action-RPG series showed off two new monsters, several returning monsters, and parts of the new area that players will get to explore.

The new trailer also revealed an early look at the "Rampage" events that threaten the game's primary location, Kamura Village.

Capcom announced that there will be two new Monster Hunter games coming to the Switch in 2021. These games are called Monster Hunter Rise and Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin. Rise is slated to be released on March 21, 2021 while Wings of Ruin is looking at a Summer 2021 release.
