IO Interactive's Hitman 3 is now available for purchase and playing on the PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, PlayStation VR, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Google Stadia, Nintendo Switch, and PC through the Epic Games Store (affiliate link) for $59.99 (USD). This release marks the conclusion of their "World of Assassination" trilogy that began with Hitman back in 2016, and continued with 2018's Hitman 2.
This release will once again see Agent 47 traveling the world on his hunt for Providence. 47 will travel from Dubai to Chongqing and everywhere in between. In addition to the Hitman 3 levels, players can import the older maps from the first two titles. Yes, this does include PC players as well even if you own the previous games on Steam. This was changed in a last minute fix from IO Interactive and is counter to previous announcements to the contrary.
On the next-gen consoles, Hitman 3 offers up support for 4K visuals, 60fps gameplay, HDR, and faster loading times. There are also improvements to AI through IO Interactive's Glacier technology. This tech also allows for up to 300 fully-simulated NPCs to be in one location at once.
