Microsoft Flight Simulator is now VR ready as of today's major update to the game. The flight sim now supports all major headsets that are currently available in what is being called the "deepest and most immersive virtual flight experience in the new simulator to date."

This free update is available to everyone and supports headsets from Oculus, HTC, Valve, and even Windows Mixed Reality headsets.

The VR update was supposed to arrive a bit earlier this year but was pushed back with a slight delay. It was one of the flight sim community's most requested features and is now live in the game.

The next major update for Microsoft Flight Simulator is expected to arrive on January 28, 2021. This particular update will focus on adding new content and revising existing content throughout Great Britain.
