The final major trailer shown off last night at The Game Awards was for the next Mass Effect game that BioWare is working on. We already knew that they were working on a new Mass Effect thanks to some hot N7 Day announcements, but to see a trailer already? Well, nobody was prepared for that.
We do not have a whole lot to go on right now. However, based on the fact that we see and older Liara from the original trilogy, it stands to reason that this game will serve as a direct follow-up to the original three games in the franchise instead of continuing with the character and story set forth in Mass Effect: Andromeda.
We do know that "a veteran team at BioWare is in the early stages of what is on the horizon for the Mass Effect franchise." Let's take a look at what the fuss is all about. Do also keep in mind that BioWare is working on Mass Effect Legendary Edition, which is a compilation of remasters of the first three Mass Effect titles.
