Today, Square Enix and Disney launched Kingdom hearts Melody of Memory to rhythm game fans all over. Today marks the day in which fans can "battle to the beat" of composer YUoko Shimomura's well-known tracks and classic songs from Disney. Some of these songs include Let It Go and Under the Seat. Kingdom Hearts Melody of Memory is out for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms. This release marks the first time that Kingdom Hearts has appeared on the Switch in any form.

Players will "relive their favorite moments from the series" as they battle alongside characters like Sora, Donald, and Goofy. Along the way, players will travel to various Disney worlds and team up with iconic Disney characters. You know, just like you did in the mainline Kingdom Hearts games.

There are over 140 different musical tracks to play through in the game. There are the aforementioned Disney classics in addition to Shimomura favorites such as Destiny Islands, Hand in Hand, and Working Together.

Whether alone or with friends and family via local co-op and online multiplayer, players will bounce and bop to the beat of the exhilarating KINGDOM HEARTS soundtrack to defeat tough enemies and bosses. The game offers three different play styles so players of all ages and skill levels can enjoy their magical musical adventure in KINGDOM HEARTS Melody of Memory. Players can casually explore all the worlds and tracks with One Button mode, or really showcase their prowess with the frenetic “Performer” mode for more fast-paced and skillful combo sets. Along the way, players will unlock and collect iconic story scenes from across the entire KINGDOM HEARTS saga, to be enjoyed in the game’s Museum. Competitive Online Battle modes mix up the formula even further, with special tricks to confound your opponents. Players of the Nintendo Switch™ version can also participate in a Free-for-All battle mode with up to seven other players via local play.
In addition to this news, there is also word that Kingdom Hearts III's soundtrack is now available digitally. The soundtrack is over ten hours long and features over 160 songs from Kingdom Hearts III and related titles.

After Three Years, Square Enix Finally Remembered Kingdom Hearts Wasn't on Steam Yet
      by Shawn Zipay
Wow, Square really is serious about ditching platform exclusives.

The PC release of the Kingdom Hearts games happened way back in 2021. However, the PC release then did come with a catch and that catch was that it was exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Like many games that have come before and after it, many believed that it would be an Epic Games Store exclusive for a year at most.

That year turned to two, then two years became three years. Finally, after over a three-year...

Kingdom Hearts is finally on the PC!... Assuming you use the Epic Games Store at least.

Ah, what a bittersweet day for some fans today. After almost 19 years, the Kingdom Hearts franchise is now available on the PC for the first time ever! That's the good news. The bad news is that it's a timed exclusive on the Epic Games Store because Square Enix probably hates you and loves that free Epic money. I can't say I blame them. Money is good to have.

Perfect for those that do not own any Kingdom Hearts game.

In the far off time of late 2018, Square Enix released a couple of different package deals for the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
