    If you meet these requirements, you too can fell some gods.

    Counterplay Games and Gearbox announced the minimum and recommended system requirements for their upcoming action, looter-slasher romp, Godfall. The requirements are perhaps on the higher side, with the minimum requiring 12GB of RAM and an i5-6600 CPU.

    Alas, what were once great machines in the current-generation of consoles will no longer hold the mustard with the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X paving the way for higher requirements on PC. Let's take a look at the full specs across the board.

      • AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, 8GB // NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 TI, 11GB
    Standard, Deluxe, and the Ascended Edition of Godfall can be pre-ordered right now (affiliate link). It's also coming out for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Those that pre-order get a Godfall Starter Pack full of early equipment Augments and Trinkets. There are also some skin variants that you will get and even Zer0's sword from Borderlands.

        Godfall is Coming to Steam and Xbox in April

        This release will include most everything released for the game thus far.

        Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing announce that Godfall: Ultimate Edition will be coming to Steam and Xbox on April 7, 2022. Technically, this release will also be available for the Epic Games Store and PlayStation on the same date. However, this does mark the game's first release at all on Steam and Xbox.

        Fell some gods and earn some loot.

        The PlayStation 5 exclusive launch title (also available on PC (affiliate link)), Godfall, is now available for those with a PS5 in hand. The action title is developed by Counterplay Games and published by Gearbox Publishing.

        It's billed as a "looter-slasher, melee action-RPG." I think that should tell you that there is plenty of loot to be earned just without the use of guns. It's more of a stabby-stabby sort of game instead...

        Free Content Set to Arrive in Big Godfall Update

        This update will be free to everyone when it releases on April 7.

        Gearbox Publishing and developer Counterplay Games just announced the upcoming release of the "largest free update yet" for Godfall. The update, entitled the Exalted Update, will be out on April 7 and will include a "slew" of new content, as well as various quality of life improvements, more earnable cosmetics, and "every major fan-requested feature tracked since launch."
