A new trailer showcasing new footage, characters, and story.
Cyberpunk 2077

Today, CD Projekt Red lifted the lid on a whole lot of new media and impressions for Cyberpunk 2077. A number of outlets have shared their first-hand experiences with a vertical slice of the game based on being able to play it for the past week or two now. Lucky SOBs, I'll tell you what. This all came together today in the release of those impressions to the web alongside a brand new official trailer from CD Projekt Red themselves.

The new trailer is called "The Gig" and it features a new look at the world, characters, story, and action that will take place in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. According to the release, it shows a fresh look at the "dark future setting that is Night City, and the beginnings of the mercenary career of V - the ambitious, cyber-enhanced outlaw players will be stepping into the shoes of later this year."

Speaking of "later this year" for the game's release, it must be said again that Cyberpunk 2077 was recently delayed again until November 19. On that date, it will be released for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. A Stadia release is coming later this year. IT will also be playable on the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 when available. There will then be a separate upgrade for the next-gen versions of the game that take better advantage of the next-gen hardware.
