CD Projekt Red just revealed theif fifth expansion today for GWENT: The Witcher Card Game. It's called Master Mirror and yes, it adds in a bunch of new cards to the game. More specifically, Master Mirror will add in over 70 new cards to GWENT. They will be "themed after the shadowy, powerful influence of Gaunter O'Dimm - Master Mirror himself - and his role in key events in the Continent's history."
New cards will include faction-specific ones including an all new Legendary card type. This new card type will both change in appearance and power as the battle progresses. Neat! There are 11 new neutral cards that will also be included with this. As you may have already assumed, there will also be new statuses and abilities introduced with this expansion. It's an expansion to a card battling game. You probably already know what to expect with this by now.
GWENT: The Witcher Card game is a free to download game for PC via GOG and Steam. It's also out on iOS and Android. Look for Master Mirror to release on June 30, 2020.
In anticipation of the upcoming release, a number of Master Mirror pre-order offers have been added to the GWENT in-game store. These packs will grant players access to new cards from the expansion upon its release, with a unique Gaunter O’Dimm leader skin, as well as a Master Mirror-inspired cardback and title also available in specific packs — ready to equip in-game immediately following purchase.
