The second season of content for Samurai Shodown will begin on February 26, 2020. On that date, the first new fighter of the season will be added to the roster. That fighter is Mina Majikina. She is "a powerful exorcist hailing from Ryukyu." This new content will be out on the 26th for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Stadia. Those in Europe will get the content starting on the 27th for Xbox and Switch, and on March 2nd for the PlayStation 4. If you don't yet own Samurai Shodown in any capacity, you can always check out the Samurai Shodown website.
February 26 is also the same date that the Season Pass 2 will go on sale. This will obviously grant you immediate access to Mina Majikina. It will also grant you access to Sogetsu Kazama, Iroha, and a fourth DLC character that has yet to be announced.
Pricing has not yet been confirmed. However, if it follows the first season of content, the pass will retail for $19.99 (USD) with the option to purchase characters separately for $5.99.
