We have just learned that Batman: The Telltale Series is getting a re-release with a few visual improvements. The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition was just revealed by way of a press release that may have been released a bit too early.
According to Athlon Games, The Telltale Batman Shadows Edition is "out now" with a new noir-style visual makeover and some updated graphics. The release says that this game includes the original Batman: The Telltale Series base game along with new DLC. It goes on to say that you can purchase this right now on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam, Epic Games Store, and the Nintendo Switch for $29.99 (USD). If you already own the base game you will be able to add the Shadows Mode as a piece of stand-alone DLC for $4.99.
Again, this release seems to have come out at least a few hours earlier than it should have. If anything, you may need to wait a while before this release actually shows up in the preferred storefronts. The press release even includes a suggestion to follow Telltale Games on Twitter, though they haven't updated in over a month.
It's also important to note that the Telltale brand along with a number of licenses owned by Telltale were acquired by LCG Entertainment earlier this year.
There is also a rumor that we saw earlier today that suggests we're getting an announcement tonight for The Wolf Among Us 2 during The Game Awards. We'll find out for sure in just a couple of hours if that's true or not.
