    The Division 2 free game

    This is a nice little thing that Ubisoft is doing for The Division 2 pre-orders. If you pre-order the PC version of the game, you can get one of three free games at no extra charge. Yes, saying "free game at no extra charge" is redundant.

    The games being offered are Watch Dogs 2, Ghost Recon Wildlands, and Far Cry Primal. Here are the details about this deal.

    PRE-ORDER TOM CLANCY'S THE DIVISION 2 PC DIGITAL VERSION ON OR BEFORE MARCH 14, 2019, AND CHOOSE ONE PC DIGITAL GAME OF YOUR CHOICE FROM THE FOLLOWING:
    • Watch Dogs 2
    • Ghost Recon Wildlands
    • Far Cry Primal
    (all standard editions)

    HOW IT WORKS:
    • Pre-order any PC digital version of The Division 2
    • Activate The Division 2 in your Uplay game library
    • Complete your purchase and you will receive e-mail instructions to choose and redeem your FREE game
    • Play your free game at launch on March 15, 2019
    It should be noted that the promo page for this deal only includes official support for pre-orders made through the Ubisoft Store and the Epic Games Store. I did see some mentions from Green Man Gaming indicating that pre-orders made through them would also work with this promotion.

    Update: A rep from Green Man Gaming informed me that all purchases of The Division 2 through them will also get the free games as they are an authorized retailer for the game. So, there you go! Purchase away!

    I'm sure pre-order numbers are doing just fine for The Division 2 on the PC and this is being done purely out of the kindness of Ubisoft's heart. There is surely no other reason for this. No siree bob.
