Nani? There's a minigame in Yakuza 6: The Song of Life that allows you to create your own clan and take them to the streets? Yes, yes there is. The latest video for Yakuza 6 shows off how you can customize your own clan along with a look at what all this clan focused minigame entails.
Gray jacket, red shirt with the collar up and that perfectly styled hair. It's him, Kazuma Kiryu, the Dragon of Dojima, with a dozen of the strongest men known in Kamurocho. You've done your best to put together the strongest team possible in hopes of conquering this territory. Two dozen bodies move, flooding the streets with roundhouse kicks and quick jabs. The wave of men quickly takes your team down and you've lost. But you and your men have gained experience, leveled up and will return stronger for another fight, another time. In Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, for the first time, you will be able to command some of the biggest names in Yakuza lore in the Clan Creator minigame when the game releases March 20!

As the press blurb above stated, Yakuza 6 will release in the States on March 20, 2018. We will undoubtedly have more to share with you as the weeks roll on towards release.

The press release also suggests that there are some codes to look out for in the trailer below that can help you to unlock special characters in the Clan Creator minigame. Hmm...

About Yakuza 6: The Song of Life
In Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, Kiryu will find out exactly how much people are willing to sacrifice for family - be those ties through blood or bond - when he investigates a series of shadowy events that involve the ones he holds closest to his heart. He'll journey to familiar grounds in Kamurocho and the new setting of Onomichi, a beautiful, sleepy port town in Hiroshima Prefecture, in order to find the answers he seeks. Powered by the brand-new Dragon Engine, the game is the ultimate iteration of Yakuza's blend of gritty crime story, hyper-explosive combat, and all the vices and distractions those locales have to offer.

The "Essence of Art" edition is almost sold out! But don't fret, you can pre-order the launch edition of the game today which contains a sleek hardcover art book that also doubles as the disc holder!

      Do It For Her.

Yakuza Kiwami is an updated remake of the original Yakuza title, a game that was originally released back in 2006 in North America for the PlayStation 2. Right out of the gate, Kiwami can and should be considered more than just a simple remake. It feels more like an extension of the fantastic Yakuza 0 that came to North America earlier this year and less like a game that came out nearly ten years ago. Yakuza Kiwami delivers updated assets, visuals, and even completely...

The best Yakuza game to date.
Since January of 2017, I've had the good fortune to be able to review every Yakuza release that has come out on the PlayStation 4. It started with Yakuza 0, followed by Yakuza Kiwami, and then Yakuza 6 just a few months back. I have seen the beginning and the emotional end to this franchise. I have played it across two different game engines. Every entry has offered up something new and unique to experience while still maintaining a certain alluring appeal...
