    In the future, Blizzard will take you back to the past. Specifically, they're taking you back about 13 years to where the World of Warcraft began. That's right, Blizzard announced today an official return to the original WoW with the upcoming release of World of Warcraft Classic.

    Just as the original game caused you to drop out of school, the return of the classic will now cause you to drop out of your job and say farewell to your wife and kids. Your life once again belongs to World of Warcraft. World of Warcraft Classic means you'll soon be able to experience WoW with no expansions. You will once again have to pay for new character abilities. Get ready for that hefty grind just to get a mount. Will they also roll back the graphics? Maybe! Will you get addicted again? Probably!

    World of Warcraft Classic doesn't yet have a release date, but I'm sure we'll be hearing more about it in the days/weeks/months(?) ahead.

        As someone who lost his friends for some years after WoW came out, and had to piece my friendships back together once they started playing it less, i literally couldn't hate a game announcement more.

          I know, I'm glad I started disliking WoW after TWOTLK, from time to time I get the feel of going back but whenever I did it it ended up in disapointment and feeling like I was in a place I did not recognize. I feel like even up to this day, this game managed to consume more hours of my life than all others combined.
