Here is the premiere trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2.
Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland. The game’s vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be out Fall 2017 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

......... It could STILL be an ARG for Table Tennis 2.....

Anyway with that said, with the scope of Rockstar Games' open world games being so insanely massive and lively, I will assume this game will be delayed to 2018. Possibly Fall 2018, but some are thinking Winter 2018. I'd be surprised if the game's here in Spring 2018. But I will definitely say a guaranteed delay until sometime in 2018, with my guess being more specified to Fall. I will NOT believe in the Fall 2017 release estimate.

I should add that Rockstar Games are one of the very few developers who know about building worlds that aren't ghost towns. Even the San Diego division knows this. You make a racing game, and usually they're either cities full of traffic, but no pedestrians, or they're abandoned cities with closed off courses using lit-up directional signs. Midnight Club? Traffic, pedestrians, and background activity such as construction, fairgrounds, etc. Shame you can't run over pedestrians in 3 though (they're more like Midtown Madness), but in 2 you can (*grin*). The scope and scale of their work is completely different, and Rockstar Games is one of the few developers where I like AAA gaming.

And Red Dead Redemption (surprised the sequel isn't a new Red Red R...... game) has so much activity going on in their worlds. It's so, alive and responsive to the player. Heck, it's even a full-fledged poker game, because... Why not? It's also why I like Westerado (and its remake Westerado: Double Barrelled), because of its similar responsive world (also surprised the developer told me that the standalone poker game technically contains the entirety of Westerado if you know how to mess with the files).

Yeah, and if the console release is in 2018, we can be expecting the PC one (if there will ever be one), to be in 2020. Oh jeez. I hope to ever see Rockstar games create a proper multiplayer in my lifetime.
