EA seems to have had a brain hiccup when it came to where the sun sets in a number of NFL stadiums in Madden NFL 17. In these stadiums, the sun is setting in the East instead of, you know, the West as it tends to do.The guffaw was first brought to light by a user named Eloy that says he's been a fan of the series since 1994. Eloy, an LA Rams fan, says that it "feels like a backwards sunrise." Eloy and Kotaku notes that some of the stadiums affected by this bizarro world syndrome include Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, AT&T Stadium, and Arrowhead Stadium.

An EA spokesperson issued the following statement on the matter.
I eagerly await the Madden NFL 18 info sheet that includes the words "now with improved astronomy tech!"

In case anyone is wondering, every NFL stadium has the sun setting to the west of it. During the forming of the NFL league it was determined to be included in the by-laws by the AFC and NFC so that no team may have some type unfair advantage with lighting. They had to amend those laws some when the Houston Astrodome was completed and used by the Houston Oilers in 1968.
