    A manufacturer of playing cards, Nintendo, has just announced a revolutionary new entertainment system. They're calling it the "NES Classic Edition" and for $59.99 (USD) you and your friends will be able to play 30 classic titles from a bygone era.

    This electronic device fits in the palm of your hand and includes an HDMI port for easy connecting to your highfalutin definition picture boxes. It even comes with one control unit that looks like something only those in their 30's would recognize! Additional "controllers" will go for $9.99 though those that already own a "Classic Controller" or "Classic Controller Pro" from the Wii U or Wii can just use those too.

    You want more than 30 of these interactive plays? Too bad, sonny! This won't play little plastic cartridges filled with dark magic. They also say that this little sucker has no way of being updated with new content from the series of tubes, just as the gaming Gods intended back in the day! You're going to take these 30 games and you're going to like it!

        A lot of people are freaking out over this. I think this is going to be a big seller for Nintendo.

          Miniature statues in the form of amiibo's have done very well for them, it was only a matter of time before they miniaturized something else :P.
          I'd buy a mini Sega Mega Drive .

            I don't know Zips... We're dealing with a video game crash here. Electronic stores don't like carrying children's toys anymore. They're more into VCRs, betamax players, stereos, and laserdisc players. With giants like Atari, Coleco, and Magnavox failing, we're just not into picture box games anymore. I'll admit this device looks very different compared to its now non-existent competitors. This thing isn't very colorful, it's just white and gray with a bit of red. And the front loading slot reminds me of a VCR. Maybe this card manufacturer took a hint or two and made their picture box gamin... Pardon me... "Entertainment" device closer to something that can blend in with other living room electronics. Maybe it'll convince electronic stores to sell them again. Maybe...

            Edit: They should also have a microphone inside the fake cartridge slot that requires you to blow on to for 10 minutes and hitting the power button repeatedly, before the mandatory blinking screen goes away and then properly loads the game.

              I was a bit sad by the game options. They are the most popular, but I beat most of them on the list

                To me, someone who was not old enough by then and could not afford any consoles, this sounds like an awesome oportunity to live through a time I didn't have the chance to.
                With how trendy these kind of oldies and old school gaming and hipster style stuff is lately, they made a genius move. Just for the the price (price of an AAA game) it also seems like a great gift for a gamer
