EA Access is quite popular on the Xbox One, so it just makes sense that a similar program found its way to other platforms. The next stop is the PC and instead of calling it "EA Access" they are instead calling it "Origin Access" to go hand in hand with their PC distribution platform.

For $4.99 (USD) a month, Origin Access will give you access to older EA titles to play until your heart is content (or your subscription expires), early access to upcoming EA titles, and 10% off of purchases made through Origin. Some of the games that you can play right now through the Vault include Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Dead Space, and more. Right now, the next upcoming game that you can play early is Unravel.

I know that this service got off to a similarly slow start on the Xbox, but it quickly picked up steam and actually became one of the better paid services out there as far as value is concerned. If this doesn't interest you now, perhaps check back in a few months to see what EA has decided to add to the Vault or what games have been given early access.
