Recently at Jump Festa 2015, Square Enix and Disney Interactive showed off a new trailer for Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue that also shows off a brief glimpse of Kingdom Hearts III.
The KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue trailer highlights exciting and memorable moments from the compilation, including all-new scenes from the playable episode KINGDOM HEARTS 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage, the HD movie KINGDOM HEARTS χ [chi] Back Cover, as well as HD remastered gameplay of KINGDOM HEARTS Dream Drop Distance, brought to a high-definition console for the first time .

The KINGDOM HEARTS III gameplay footage gives viewers a glimpse of the relentless waves of Heartless and other magical foes that oppose the trio as they traverse the KINGDOM HEARTS universe. The group must draw on their combined powers to be successful - including special Attraction Flow attacks based on popular theme park rides.

I know the YouTube video title shows Jump Festa 2015, but it's actually Jump Festa 2016. My guess is to celebrate what Shonen Jump has to offer for the next year (why Square-Enix is there, I don't know nor care). It might also be for following magazine issue dates vs actual release dates (Shonen Jump's February issue released in January, etc.). But nevertheless, Jump Festa is always titled the following year on the year it happens. Cause you know, it totally makes sense. But yeah, a lot of people mistaken the year of Jump Festa.

Meanwhile I'm wondering why Studio Pierrot/Toei Animation didn't release any promotional video showing a non-canon episode from Naruto, Bleach (anime over, but franchise alive), and One Piece. Usually there's some kind of OVA released during Jump Festa, but this year I barely see anything from those three. I didn't check Dragonball so I can only assume there's something going on for that. But Bleach only has a cardboard cutout of their mobile game Brave Souls, and Naruto has Ninja Storm 4. And... That's it. That's seriously weird for the major franchises under the Shonen Jump label. Very weird. This year is unusually quiet. Like E3 of 2007-2008 or something.

After Three Years, Square Enix Finally Remembered Kingdom Hearts Wasn't on Steam Yet
    by Shawn Zipay
Wow, Square really is serious about ditching platform exclusives.

The PC release of the Kingdom Hearts games happened way back in 2021. However, the PC release then did come with a catch and that catch was that it was exclusive to the Epic Games Store. Like many games that have come before and after it, many believed that it would be an Epic Games Store exclusive for a year at most.

That year turned to two, then two years became three years. Finally, after over a three-year...

Essentially, this deal included nearly all of the content leading up to Kingdom Hearts 3. It cost you just $39.99...

    It's finally happened.

Today during the X019 event, Microsoft, Disney, and Square Enix announced that the older titles in the Kingdom Hearts franchise will be coming to the Xbox One in 2020. This news comes some months after Kingdom Hearts 3 was released on the Xbox One family, despite the first titles never appearing on the Xbox platform in the past.
