The Star Citizen development team revealed some very interesting new gameplay footage today. In their latest trailer, From Pupil to Planet, we are given a glimpse as to how you can seamlessly go from the surface of a procedurally generated planet and into space.The following video is said to be using all in-game footage and rendered in real time.
And just for kicks, here is a recording from a live stream that showed off the same idea but in reverse, with the ship landing on the planet. This live demonstration was apparently shown off at three different times during the live stream.
