  • New Yakuza 6 PlayStation 4 Trailer

    A new Japanese language trailer for Yakuza 6 on the PS4 was released yesterday. It's very pretty. As of right now, Yakuza 6 does not have a release date for Western markets. It will be out in Japan late in 2016.

        I like good movement in games, being able to climb or jump anywhere, but there's something special about awkwardly navigating a japanese game. The developers have their reasons for designing a game a certain way, and you can choose either to enjoy what they've given you, or get stuck comparing it to other games.

        Design choices like these are what make quirky japanese games special to me.

        Since January of 2017, I've had the good fortune to be able to review every Yakuza release that has come out on the PlayStation 4.
