Codex Worlds, a development team made up of former Ubisoft and Stormfront Studios members have released a free, open beta for Infinium Strike. The Kickstarter funded tactical game that takes place in space, can be downloaded right now from Steam (click on the little "Download PC Demo" button on the right side).A strategy/action game set in space, Infinium Strike places players into the role of the weapons officer aboard the battlecarrier Freedom Strike. Surrounded by a horde of sentient alien ships known as the Wrog on all sides, players must tactically build turrets, send out fleets of specialized fighting vessels and utilize powerful weapons known as SuperTech to save mankind.
