  • Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia to Direct the Minecraft Movie

    Rob McElhenney, perhaps best known for his role of Mac from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, has been announced by Mojang as the director for the Minecraft film. Yes, a Minecraft film. It's going to be live action. Yes, live action.

    McElhenney has also served as a writer on It's Always Sunny along with serving as the executive producer, and also as the director on three episodes. Roy Lee (The Lego Movie) will serve as the film's producer.

        Live action could work if it's anything like Brandon Laatsch's cancelled Birth Of Man movie. It didn't look that bad as live action in my opinion. I know it was cancelled for a different reason, but that's not the point I was making.

            I sold a magazine to a kid at work today, Minecraft World.
            I wonder what the hell is in that thing.
