  • Minecraft Creator Notch Outbids Jay-Z and Beyonce on $70 Million Mansion

    Now that is a headline I never thought I'd be typing! Minecraft creator Markus "Notch" Persson managed to outbid Jay-Z and his wife, Beyonce, on a "megamansion" in Beverly Hills. The asking price was $85 million but Notch snatched away the location for a mere $70 million, which was more than any other bidder.

    The megamansion includes:
    • A candy room
    • A car showroom
    • Vodka and tequilla bars
    • A 54-foot curved glass door that opens onto a pool
    • 8 bedrooms
    • 15 bathrooms
    • Apartment-sized closets
    • A movie theater
    • Tot Neorest toilets in each bathroom that cost $5,600 each
    • A replica of James Dean's motorcycle
    • An 18-foot onyx dining room table
    • Place settings for that dining room table by Roberto Cavalli that costs $3,700 each
    • Three "high-definition 90-inch television screens that bring panoramic views of LA from the roof into the down stairs lounge"

          Yeah, wow is right.

          I would turn it into a Minecraft house and then find the next house Jay Z and Beyonce wanted and buy that one as well and live in it.
