Released on February 22, the PlayStation 4 reportedly sold over 322,000 units in less than two days of being on sale in Japan. To be more precise, it sold out of all 322,083 units it had available. In addition, Knack had a solid showing as well since that game was bundled with the PS4 in Japan.

Other new PS4 software additions for the week of February 22 include:
  • Yakuza Restoration - 138K+ sold on PS3, 82.5K sold on PS4
  • Killzone: Shadow Fall - 32K+ sold
  • Battlefield 4 - 24.8K sold
  • Dynasty Warriors 8: Xtreme Legends Complete Edition - 14K+ sold
  • Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag - 13.8K
  • Call of Duty: Ghosts - 13.7K
  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition - 12K
  • FIFA 14 - 8.8K
  • Need for Speed: Rivals - 6.6K

It certainly seems as though the games most tailored for Western audiences didn't do quite as well in Japan as they do here in the States. Then again, many gamers may have already picked them up for the older generation already.
