Though the latest Xbox One update brought about some much needed new functionality to the system, it also brought about a curious issue that many gamers are experiencing. Some are reporting that after they turn their system on, they are met with only a blank, black screen.

Microsoft is aware of the issue and have already provided an easy work around.
Yes, it's just that easy to fix. Hold the power button down for 10 seconds and reboot your Xbox One. That should fix the issue.

Besides the dreaded black screen bug, the update that came out on February 15 includes a battery power indicator for controllers, USB keyboard support, and improved storage space management. The next major update is slated for March, prior to the release of Titanfall.
