Valve Removes 173 Spam Titles from Steam Yet Keeps Achievement Farming Games
Earlier, Valve pulled 173 "spam" titles from the Steam store. These titles belonged to Silent Echo Studios. The studio avoided paying the $100 fee for Steam Direct on multiple occasions by submitting multiple games at once. This led to multiple games being added to the Steam store to the tune of roughly a couple dozen games per month. TmarTn and ProSyndicate have gotten away with little more than a stern warning after it was discovered that they were promoting Counter-Strike: Global Offensive gambling sites to minors. Fight of Gods is an Early Access fighting game on Steam that, as you may already have guessed, include a number of gods and religious figures all battling it out. The International 7 - Final Matches Set for Saturday
The final matches have been decided on for the International Dota 2 Championships for 2017. Tomorrow, Saturday, August 12 at KeyArena in Seattle, WA you will get to see LFY take on TeamLiquid in the lower bracket.
The winner of that match will then take on Newbee in the best of five Grand Finals.

Valve finally made a new game. It's a collectible card battling game based on Dota called Artifact. ELEAGUE revealed the teams that have been confirmed for the ELEAGUE Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO) Premier 2017. The grouping, seen in the above image, includes teams that have been invited to participate.

PSA: Steam Lagging Today? Here's a Workaround Fix
A great number of people, including myself, have noticed that Steam is a wee bit laggy today. And by a "wee bit" I mean it's borderline unusable. Fortunately, some users have found a workaround fix for the issue.
Comments on Reddit and the Steam Community provided a few fixes for this issue that may help you out.
- One potential fix is to clear the browser cache within Steam. You can do this by going to your Steam Settings > Web Browser > Delete Web Browser
