Steam Stealth Fest Begins July 24th

Not a very stealthy fest if it's announcing itself this early.

Valve just announced that the Steam Stealth Fest will run from July 24 through July 31. This Fest, like all the ones that came before it, will include discounts, demos, and more all focused on games that have some measure of stealth included.

As with the thousand (give or take) previous Steam Fests that have occurred, this one comes with a preview trailer to give a sample of what's to come.

The Steam Stealth Fest begins on July 24th at 10AM (PT). It can be found under the Stealth section on Steam once the event goes live.

  I like Kaci Aitchison's approach to her role compared to Doug Lombardi (it's her voice in all Steam Fest videos). Kaci seems more involved with communicating to the public vs. Doug's communication with the media. That and Kaci somehow finds time to do comedic sketches (the DOTA 2 Cave Johnson voice pack commercial was absolute gold, but her videos with Jay Shaw are also enjoyable).
  
  With that said, I was disappointed to see no mention of Metal Gear Solid....... Until I saw the end of the video. The reference was appreciated.

  Doug will always hold a special place in my mind because he was one of the first, if not the first PR person I really talked to. Plus he's the person whom got me my first (and so far only) business trip to a studio, which resulted in getting to play and write about Episode 2 & Portal before they were released, and play test an early build of Left 4 Dead.
  
  That said, Kaci is definitely more "all-in" when it comes to the announcements. Valve typically had a very low-key approach to announcements prior to her joining the team. She brings a great deal of energy (and comedy) to the announcements and she's crushing it.

  Ah! I forgot about your trip to Valve's office (well, the second era - I think they're on their third now)! Right, you told us about the multiple floors of deliciousness with their treasure troves of snacks! Well that was cool of Doug Lombardi, I'll definitely give him that!
  
  Meanwhile I completely ignore the fact that you have screenshots of pre-retail Left 4 Dead that nobody else has. Not those angles anyway. The deliciousness takes priority! (Good on you Doug! Hope you're having fun with whatever you're doing now.)
