Activision Pulls Modern Warfare 3 Maps Due to Horrible Spawns

A number of multiplayer maps feature horribly bad player spawn locations.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 just came out today and already Activision has had to step in to remove a number of maps from the multiplayer. These maps were pulled because some of the spawn points often led to situations where players would repeatedly respawn at the same location, leading to an easy spawn camping farm for other players.

So far, Activision has pulled Quarry, Rundown, Scrapyard,...

  • Alan Wake 2 Review: A Must-Play Psychological Horror Experience

Alan Wake 2 Review: A Must-Play Psychological Horror Experience

Easily, the best horror game in years.

In 2010 Remedy Entertainment released Alan Wake, a game where a writer is pulled into a horrifying world seemingly of his own creation. Alan Wake was a game that I bounced off at least two times. Despite the game being well received by critics and fans, I felt like its gameplay was just a repetitive slog that even its unique story could not overcome. When a sequel was announced by Remedy, I found myself extremely indifferent to the news. Still...

  • How Many Games Did You Complete in 2025?
    by Shawn Zipay
Make up your own definition of "complete."

Was 2025 a big year for game completions for you, or were you more of a "stick to one never-ending, live-service game for the entire year" sort of player?

For this, you can take whatever definition you want as a game "completion." Beat the main story? Earned 100% of the game's achievements? Or simply played enough that you're satisfied with what you accomplished and have no plans to return any time...
