In 2024, the Nintendo Switch will get a port of the historical action-RPG, Kingdom Come: Deliverance. This was a title that first hit PC back in 2018 and one that we did a review for at launch. At the time, it was quite buggy but a number of patches and updates have been released since that initial review that seems to have addressed many of the issues I had with the title.
This Switch port is mostly being handled by Saber Interactive along with collaboration with the game's original developer, Warhorse Studios. In Kingdom Come: Deliverance you play as Henry, a blacksmith's son that finds himself becoming an unlikely hero.
The Switch release, dubbed Kingdom Come: Deliverance - Royal Edition, will have both a physical and digital release in 2024. This release will include the full base game, plus all of the DLC: Treasures of the Past, From the Ashes, The Amorous Adventures of Sir Hans Capon, Band of Bastards, and A Woman's Lot.
You're Henry, the son of a blacksmith. Thrust into a raging civil war, you watch helplessly as invaders storm your village and slaughter your friends and family.
