  • Sony Fixes PS5 Bug that Displayed Ads Instead of Game Backgrounds on Home Screen

Turns out people weren't too happy having their entire screen be a giant ad.

This week, what seemed like a malicious move on Sony's part may have just been a little whoopsie from the PlayStation 5 company. When firing up their PS5 consoles, instead of seeing a background for the games they were playing, users instead saw old discount promotional images and advertisements for games not yet released.

This change really didn't sit well with PlayStation 5 owners that saw...

The Day Before Devs are Back and Once Again Asking You for Money

Looks like scamming is back on the menu!

The Day Before developer, Fntastic just doesn't know when to call it quits. If you recall, The Day Before promised a lot of things that it never delivered on. Its development was a mess of delays for one reason or another. Then, when the game launched into Early Access in December 2023 it was nothing like any of the promotional materials made it out to be. It went from an open-world zombie survival game to an extraction shooter that was, to...

  • How Many Games Did You Complete in 2025?
    by Shawn Zipay
Make up your own definition of "complete."

Was 2025 a big year for game completions for you, or were you more of a "stick to one never-ending, live-service game for the entire year" sort of player?

For this, you can take whatever definition you want as a game "completion." Beat the main story? Earned 100% of the game's achievements? Or simply played enough that you're satisfied with what you accomplished and have no plans to return any time...
