Nintendo made another huge announcement today. That announcement being the release of Nintendo Music, a new mobile app for iOS and Android devices. It'll be your one stop for listening to classic music from classic Nintendo titles.
The Nintendo Music app will let you listen to soundtracks from games like Donkey Kong Country, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and more. It also includes Nintendo curated playlists based on themes such as games, moods, and characters. You are free to make your own playlist too.
Nintendo Music enjoyers can either stream music to their devices or download tracks for offline listening. Nintendo also offers an option that will let you filter out music tracks that may somehow spoil a game for you. There will also be options to loop songs or extend select songs for 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
If you want to download Nintendo Music and listen to some tracks, you will need a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online.
Today's announcement comes a few weeks after Nintendo revealed Alarmo, their themed $100 alarm clock that apparently isn't all that great.
