Now that it's officially November, the release of Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl is just around the corner. Developer GSC Game World shared the PC system requirements by way of an update to the Stalker 2 page on Steam.
Outside of the storage requirement, the minimum hardware requirements are actually super reasonable for Stalker 2. It's almost refreshing to see such relatively "light" requirements for a major release here at the end of 2024. Hell, even the recommended specs are super reasonable. My GTX 1080 Ti, which is now about 7 and a half years old, is actually listed as a recommended GPU for the game. That's absolutely wild to see, especially for a game built on Unreal Engine 5.
These recommended specs almost feel like a mistake. If they change prior to release, we'll be sure to update accordingly. Hopefully these are accurate as is though.
