As a quick reminder: Microsoft plans to spend $190 billion on AI in 2026. In 2025, the company spent $80 billion...

Starting January 2028, Sony will no longer produce physical discs for new PlayStation game releases. All games released in January 2028 and after will be available only through digital stores such as the PlayStation Store.

Sony attempts to justify this move by claiming it's a "natural direction" in order to "adapt to consumer trends as the general preference for digital media significantly outpaces physical discs."...

This is Diablo 4 at its best. I mean it this time. For real.

Returning to the world of Sanctuary for this latest chapter feels like a true homecoming for those of us who have spent hundreds of hours traversing its dark and unforgiving landscapes since the base game launched back in 2023. Tiananmen Square Footage Removed from Call of Duty Trailer

Activision bending the knee? What? No. Never!

The first trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War was blocked in China and then later edited from every other region because it contained roughly one second of footage from the Tiananmen Square protests from 1989. This is when the Chinese government had a big uh "crackdown" on pro-democracy protesters. That is to say, they murdered the fuck out of their citizens, or made them "disappear," and attacked them with...

Call of Duty Devs Won't Admit 'Modern Warfare' is Political

Devs continue to be too cowardly to admit all games are political.

In a couple of interviews conducted between Game Informer and developers of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare from Infinity Ward, we once again see that devs are just too afraid to admit that yes, their games are indeed political.

Given that nearly every single game is political in some way, this seems like a rather perplexing stance to take. It's even more so when we're talking about a game that has "war"...

  • How Many Games Did You Complete in 2025?
    by Shawn Zipay
Make up your own definition of "complete."

Was 2025 a big year for game completions for you, or were you more of a "stick to one never-ending, live-service game for the entire year" sort of player?

For this, you can take whatever definition you want as a game "completion." Beat the main story? Earned 100% of the game's achievements? Or simply played enough that you're satisfied with what you accomplished and have no plans to return any time...
