Coming as a total shock to everybody, Activision announced the name of the next entry in their annual Call of Duty franchise today. The next game will be called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and it takes place in the future! Whoa! It even features space combat! Master Chief better watch out, am I right? Ha ha ha.Included in today's announcement trailer was an extra special super secret surprise! It seems as though the more expensive Infinite Warfare bundles will include Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.
The Remaster includes the single player campaign and 10 multiplayer maps with plenty of "next-gen" visuals slathered on. Let's be real for a moment here: Most of the old fans will probably pick up Infinite Warfare just for Modern Warfare Remastered. Just a shame that the only way (at present) to own Modern Warfare Remastered is to buy Infinite Warfare. I'm going to make a wild guess and say that it will probably be sold separately down the road and probably at a $40 price point.
Some of the multiplayer maps for Modern Warfare Remastered include Crash, Backlot, and Crossfire. Frankly, it's just a damn shame we're only getting ten maps from that classic experience.

Call of Duty is returning to its roots for a classic, epic battle of two armies unlike anything seen before in the record-setting series. Infinite Warfare and the Infinite Warfare Legacy Edition, featuring Modern Warfare Remastered, will be available for PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, and PC.
