    There are reported some massive changes happening behind the scenes of the Call of Duty franchise. According to a new report from Jason Schreier of Kotaku, Call of Duty 2020 is no longer being developed by Sledgehammer and Raven.     A private event was held today wherein a number of college football players and various "Call of Duty Partners" got to play the new Call of Duty title.     Thanks to some keen eyes on the part of CharlieIntel, the single player campaign for Call of Duty may not be completely dead.

    CharlieIntel spotted a new job listing on Infinity Ward's job page that is looking for a "Narrative Scripter." Though nothing is confirmed, this seems to indicate that next year's Call of Duty will bring back the single player campaign.

    Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Gets Spooky Goodies for October

    Four weeks of activities for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare proves that even in the future things still get spooky and creepy around Halloween. Infinite Ward put together four weeks of Halloween themed content that they're calling "Willard Wyler's Halloween Scream." Willard Wyler being a fictional character in the Zombies mode for Infinite Warfare. He is voiced by none other than Pee-Wee Herman himself, Mr. Paul Reubens.

    The event, which began today and runs through to November 1, offers up some goodies like double XP events, a new zombie mode, the return of Gesture Warfare, and a bunch of new loot.

  • Windows 10 Store Version of Infinite Warfare Features NO Multiplayer with Other PC Versions

    Just a word of warning here that if you plan on purchasing Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, you should probably avoid the Windows 10 Store version. These versions will NOT feature multiplayer with other PC users that didn't purchase from the Windows 10 Store. This also applies to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered.

    The official FAQ reads as follows for this matter:
    Can I play Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare or Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered for Windows 10 on Windows Store with my friends that are playing on another PC platform?
    No, you can only play these titles with other users of Windows 10 on Windows Store.

    If you were hoping to maybe pick up Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered and then sell only your copy of Infinite Warfare, well I have some terrible news for you.

    The legal wording on the Call of Duty site has changed when it comes to being able to even access Infinite Warfare. It now seems like you will need the Infinite Warfare disc just to play Modern Warfare Remastered.
    "Modern Warfare Remastered is a full game download (game disc must be inserted to play Modern Warfare Remastered)."
