Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have scheduled a big battle royale reveal for Tuesday, October 28 at 8 AM PT. The official reveal for Battlefield REDSEC (or Battlefield: REDSEC or Battlefield 6: REDSEC) is expected to go live tomorrow morning.
REDSEC (short for Redacted Sector) is the official name for the upcoming free-to-play battle royale game set in the Battlefield 6 universe. REDSEC is the rumored name that started to make the rounds just this past week and it sure looks like those rumors were accurate.
Last week's rumor also suggested that REDSEC would be a surprise shadowdrop without much in the way of advance notice. If REDSEC is released tomorrow, and it sure seems like it will given that this reveal is a "launch gameplay trailer," that would mean that the battle royale drops in the same day as Update 1.1.1.0 and the start of Season 1.
Thought he REDSEC name rumor is quite recent, the rumors about a Battlefield 6 battle royale mode were kicking around for several months. Back in September, the official Battlefield website announced that Battlefield Labs members were testing the still unrevealed battle royale mode.
