Battlefield Developers Mock Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Trailer

In a series of now deleted Tweets, DICE's Video and Media Editor, Roland Smedberg, took to mocking the newly released Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare trailer. However, Smedberg was not the only one from the Battlefield team to mock the trailer. Randy Evans, a developer that worked on the upcoming Battlefield trailer and Julian Manolov, an Engineer at DICE, also chimed in.

Fortunately, PlayStation Lifestyle archived the Tweets for the whole world to see.

Let's keep in mind that DICE and EA have their big Battlefield reveal coming on Friday.

  ITT: Developers of two games that will never be as fun as CS get annoyed by stolen thunder :P
  
  I will buy both (mostly CoD for the revamped 4) anyway and ditch each after 20h.

  I never really understood that. Having played plenty of CS 1.6 and Source back then, to me they just quickly got boring and repetitive. Battlefield 2 quickly won me over at the time and it still hasn't changed today. Not leaving my Battlefield moments, my vast maps full of variety and oportunity for repetitive enclosed closets of firing from the hip.

  Seems childish to me, coming from the studio whose most recent release was almost completely broken when it came out, i'll take "Quaint" over being blinded by the sun any day.

  Yep, different tastes I guess. I still enjoy BF but BF2 turned me right off with it's bad netcode and damage mechanics.

  Yeah DICE doesn't have a lot to really talk about. Rollie mentions graphics, but I rather be able to play the game over one that crashes all the time.
  
  I was one of the lucky few that it didn't crash all the time, but I still had to endure the broken communication of clients and server. Only took 2 years and another dev team to fix too.

Battlefield 6 Reviews - Solid Multiplayer, Terrible Single Player Campaign

The multiplayer more than makes up for the "dull" campaign.

The initial batch of reviews for Battlefield 6 indicate that yes, Battlefield is back! This is assuming you ignore the "short," "disappointing," and "dull" single player campaign. At least the multiplayer component seems to more than make up for the massively disappointing campaign.

The average critical score on OpenCritic for Battlefield 6 is 84% with 92% of all critics...

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Announced with Modern Warfare Remastered

Coming as a total shock to everybody, Activision announced the name of the next entry in their annual Call of Duty franchise today. The next game will be called Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and it takes place in the future! Whoa! It even features space combat! Master Chief better watch out, am I right? Ha ha ha.
