-Removed the blur effect on soldiers that appeared when Commanders were using EMP attacks
-Fixed the audio bug where audio sometimes randomly dropped out while playing on certain multiplayer maps (typically Golmud Railway and Hainan Resort)
-Fixed the "one-hit kill bug" where occasionally damage from a single bullet was applied multiple times
-Fixed a common crash that would occur when exiting from the Single Player Campaign to Main Menu
-Tweaked the network and computer performance screen to show proper values. Players can now test their computer and network connection and get recommendations if they need to adjust something to improve their gameplay experience

Sadly, this doesn't sound like it fixes the crashing between rounds issue, or the lack of spawn protection, or the screen fade in when respawning, or the questionable netcode, or the fact that snipers are still in the game (YES, I AM STILL UPSET).
The update will roll out beginning at 1AM (PST; 10AM UTC) tonight. Shortly afterwards, China Rising will be released at 2AM (PST; 11AM UTC). You should probably not expect to play on any servers while these updates are rolling out.
I'm usually one of the very first to load in, which means I usually get my pick of the vehicles. It's kind of nice.
As for the looping sound lock up, Crunch (I think it was) linked me to some workarounds. I haven't gotten he looping sound crash since but just the normal crashes in between rounds.
Here's what I did: Adjust the Windows sound (Playback Devices > Click on your audio device > Properties > Advanced tab) to 16 bit, 48KHz quality (which was lower than the default for my setup).
I also made sure to run in borderless windowed mode in game.
I also ensured it was set to headset in game, since I use a headset. It was already set to headset though. And don't use Hi-Fi or... whatever the hell the in game options are.
Again, I don't have the looping sound crashes anymore (knock on wood) but I still do sometimes crash in between round loads, just like most everyone else.
