Battlefield 4 Beta is Now Open to Everyone

I hope some of you enjoyed the few day jumpstart on the Battlefield 4 beta, because as of today it is now available to everyone. All you need is the Origin client and an EA account, which most people probably have by now anyway.

If you're on PC, simply log into Origin, go to the store page, and choose the Battlefield 4 beta under the demo category listings. You will need a 64-bit system to run the beta. If you're on consoles, look for the beta under the "demo" sections on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It should also be highlighted on the main tab of the Xbox 360 dashboard and you will need Xbox Live Gold in order to play it there.

As expected, it is just the one map, Siege of Shanghai, and includes both the Conquest and Domination game modes. The beta is slated to run until October 14.

  Any thoughts on a TGN community game day, where all site readers join you in a game? Complete with captured game footage and your commentary? (Actually I think it would be an interesting addition to your lets plays for any game.)
