  • Alien: Isolation 2 Teased

It was a dark and stormy night...
The upper part of an emergency call station where players can save their game in Alien: Isolation, hinting at Alien: Isolation 2.

Something that sure looks like a teaser for Alien: Isolation 2 was released today by Sega and developer Creative Assembly. This mysterious video called "A False Sense of Security" was put up on the official Alien: Isolation YouTube account on April 26.

The trailer is brief but it does appropriately set the tone of what one should expect to see from a potential Alien: Isolation sequel. The teaser depicts a sci-fi sort of tech facility that opens to a rainy, outdoor location. There is also a very familiar looking emergency phone kiosk that doubled as a save station in the first Alien: Isolation.

The video does not outright state that this is something for Alien: Isolation 2 but it's hard not to connect the obvious dots. Creative Assembly stated back in 2024 that they were working on a sequel.

The first Alien: Isolation released back in late 2014 for PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and box One. The first game sits at a strong 81% average score at OpenCritic. The main complaint about the game was that it was just too long and included long stretches of very little happening. These same sentiments were echoed in Total Gaming Network's review of Alien: Isolation.

Hopefully today's new teaser is the start of a wave of new announcements and previews for Alien: Isolation 2.
